1. The incorrectness of the proportion of asphalt concrete
The mixing proportion of asphalt mixture runs through the whole construction process of the road. Therefore, only if the proportion and production mix proportion are scientific can they play an important role in the construction. The unreasonable production mix proportion will lead to the disqualification of asphalt concrete, which will affect the service life and the cost control of asphalt concrete pavement.
2.The instability of discharging temperature of asphalt concrete
It is specified that the heating temperature of asphalt should be controlled in the range of 150-170 ℃, the temperature of aggregate should be higher 10-20 ℃ than the temperature of the asphalt and the temperature of the mixture is usually between 140 and 165 ℃ for the batch-type asphalt mixing plant in the “Technical specification for construction of highway asphalt pavement”. If the temperature is too high, the asphalt will show the sign of scorch, which will seriously affect the quality of road paving and rolling.
3. The mixing of mixture
Before mixing, there should be a strict inspection for the mixing equipment in order to ensure the dynamic appearance is in good working condition. At the same time, check the measurement equipment regularly to ensure the dosage of asphalt and aggregate mixture comply with the provisions of the “technical specification”. The production equipment should be installed in the place which is spacious and has convenient transportation.
